Lake Whitney Arts has announced the cast for Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple.
This classic comedy opens as a group of the guys assembled for cards in the apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any indication, it’s no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Unger who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed and none too tense, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean-freak and the slob ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results as The Odd Couple is born.
The production stars James Hoffman, Rusty Cook, Tyler Cox, Dan Allen, Kirk Bonner, Thayne Olsen, Gail Warren, and Kitty Marbut. Ed Sanders is set to direct with assistance from Dylan Trimble.
The Odd Couple opens with a dinner theatre February 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Additional performances are February 23rd and March 2nd at 2:00 p.m. and February 28th and March 1st at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance for the dinner theatre. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door for all other performances. Tickets will be available at Kitty’s Lakeside Barber Shop, the Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce, The Movie Shop and online.
